The University of Florida’s Dairy Unit is hosting the 3rd annual “Family Day at the Dairy Farm” this Saturday, March 19, and you’re invited. Students and professors from UF’s Ag Sciences program are opening the barn doors from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to give you an opportunity to get up-close and personal with a dairy cow. You can also ask the experts questions about the milking process and tour their entire facility. There’s no better way to see first-hand where your milk comes from.

The Florida Dairy Farmers team will be there as well to share delicious Gustafson milk, Cabot cheese and Dannon yogurt with you so be sure to stop by our booth. We’ll also have a milkable cow demonstration that the kids can get their hands on. We hope to see you there!
