Ingredients

Pita Sandwich Ingredients

  • Grilled chicken*
  • Pita bread - we used Joseph's Low Carb Pita Bread
  • Mixed greens
  • Sliced sweet onions - we used RealSweet Onions 
  • Sliced mini sweet peppers

Yogurt Curry Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 limes
  • Salt and pepper to taste 

*Pro Tip - Make several pounds in the beginning of the week to use all week long on sandwiches, salads or as a high-protein snack

Preparation

  1. Add Greek yogurt to a bowl
  2. Zest lime and add to yogurt.
  3. Squeeze in the juice of the lime and add to yogurt.
  4. Add curry powder.
  5. Mix well and set aside.
  6. Open pita bread and spread the yogurt curry sauce on both sides of the pita bread.
  7. Fill pita with greens, sliced onion, sliced sweet peppers, grilled chicken, and then top with additional yogurt curry sauce.
  8. Enjoy with a glass of cold Florida Milk
