Ingredients
- ½ tsp. of creole seasoning
- 1 can of diced, seasoned tomatoes
- Parsley, chopped for garnish
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
- Garlic
- Turkey sausage
- 1 cup cooked grits
Preparation
- Melt butter in pan. Sauté onions, bell peppers on medium heat until almost cooked, add garlic and stir. Add turkey sausage and continue to cook; add creole seasoning and tomatoes. Turn down heat to low and stir occasionally.
To Serve: Put 1 cup of cooked grits in bowl and ladle generous amount of creole sausage.
Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley and green onions.
