Ingredients

  • ½ tsp. of creole seasoning
  • 1 can of diced, seasoned tomatoes
  • Parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped for garnish
  • Garlic
  • Turkey sausage
  • 1 cup cooked grits

Preparation

  1. Melt butter in pan. Sauté onions, bell peppers on medium heat until almost cooked, add garlic and stir. Add turkey sausage and continue to cook; add creole seasoning and tomatoes. Turn down heat to low and stir occasionally.

To Serve:  Put 1 cup of cooked grits in bowl and ladle generous amount of creole sausage.

Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley and green onions.
