Ingredients
- One large Challah (1-2 days old is best)
- 4 large eggs
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- One can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups of Florida Milk
- One can pumpkin purée
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- Optional: Chocolate Chips, Dulce de Leche for topping
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- If your bread is slightly stale, proceed to tear into small pieces. If not, you can bake it for 5 minutes to remove some of the moisture.
- Mix your eggs, butter, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, milk, pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice and brown sugar together with a hand mixer. Add bread pieces to greased 9x13 baking dish and pack it down.
- Pour the wet mixture over bread and let sit for 5 minutes. Add chocolate chips. Bake for 40 minutes.
- Enjoy!
