Ingredients

  • One large Challah (1-2 days old is best)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • One can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of Florida Milk
  • One can pumpkin purée
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • Optional: Chocolate Chips, Dulce de Leche for topping

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. If your bread is slightly stale, proceed to tear into small pieces. If not, you can bake it for 5 minutes to remove some of the moisture.
  3. Mix your eggs, butter, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, milk, pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice and brown sugar together with a hand mixer. Add bread pieces to greased 9x13 baking dish and pack it down.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over bread and let sit for 5 minutes. Add chocolate chips. Bake for 40 minutes.
  5. Enjoy!
