Cold brew coffee has a smooth taste, and is less acid than traditional heat brewed coffee. It’s a refreshing pick me up over ice with lots of- you guessed it: Florida Milk!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups ground coffee
- 16 ounces water
- 1 cup whole milk
- Ice cubes
- Optional: sweetener, to taste
Preparation
- Using a French press, place the ground coffee and water together, stir and allow to sit at room temperature for 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
- After 24 hours, press the coffee grounds, and pour over ice.
- Add ½ cup milk to each glass and sweeten to taste. *note: cold brew coffee lacks the bitterness and acid of traditional brewed coffee, making sweetening less necessary.
