Cold brew coffee has a smooth taste, and is less acid than traditional heat brewed coffee. It’s a refreshing pick me up over ice with lots of- you guessed it: Florida Milk!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups ground coffee
  • 16 ounces water
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: sweetener, to taste

Preparation

  1. Using a French press, place the ground coffee and water together, stir and allow to sit at room temperature for 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
  2. After 24 hours, press the coffee grounds, and pour over ice.
  3. Add ½ cup milk to each glass and sweeten to taste. *note: cold brew coffee lacks the bitterness and acid of traditional brewed coffee, making sweetening less necessary.
