In need of a quick pick-me-up? Whip up this tasty smoothie with sweet peach slices, tangy buttermilk (or kefir), a bit of brown sugar, and a hint of nutmeg.
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen unsweetened peach slices
- 1 cup low-fat buttermilk or low-fat plain kefir
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Preparation
1. In blender container combine peach slices, buttermilk, brown sugar, and nutmeg. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into 16- to 18-ounce glass. Serve immediately.
